Affirmations are statements and phrases that are being declared as the truth. In sales we are taught, You get what you focus on.When making an affirmation, you are actually focusing on how you would like it to be rather than how it is in the present moment, therefore seeing the result in that affirmation as truth. In time, the affirmation you continue to verbalize, write, and see, will develop into truth.

These Affirmations Are For You!

Unfortunately, many times we leave our doctor's office and we do not always receive inspiring and uplifting information. We often leave feeling disappointed and hopeless. These affirmations were designed to help you see yourself healthy and strong and to help you become the person that you desire to be. Instead of confirming that you are sick, change the message you are confirming about yourself and your health. Take our 30 day challenge. Listen to these affirmations everyday for 30 days and see if you too feel better mentally, emotionally, and physically.

THE OATH!

Did you know that thousands of Doctors take an Oath before beginning their career as a physician?

Thousands of doctors have taken this oath displayed on our video above, and while this oath is to be honored, some may need to be reminded that they are treating human beings who, like them, desire to live their lives to their fullest.

Perhaps we too should take an oath as a patient. Perhaps our oath should be to help our medical team help us by having a positive attitude and by being proactive and seeking the tools and information we need to live the life we truly desire despite living with a chronic illness.

"We must look for ways to be an active force in our own lives. We must take charge of our own destinies, design a life of substance and truly begin to live our dreams"      -Les Brown

In 1987, I was in the hospital dying. I lost full function of both of my kidneys and was diagnosed with Lupus. I was told that I would not make it through my 20's. Then I remembered; that was just their opinion of me. I've done peritoneal dialysis for 5 years, experienced chemo therapy, had 3 back-to-back grand mal seizures and uncontrollable high blood pressure, and I've recently been diagnosed with Osteoporosis. Since then I have co-founded Patient's Pride, Inc., and through this company, I've helped thousands of others take back control while living with a chronic illness. I raced motorcycles, I golf, I successfully personally built my own 600 square foot studio in 2003, I write books and do audio recordings to give inspiration to others.

I write all of this to encourage you to look at your life and visualize where you want to be, who and how you want to be, and believe that you can get there!

Can affirmations help improve my health?

Good health comes from love and appreciation. Our bodies, like everything in life is a mirror of our inner thoughts and beliefs. The simple answer is yes! It has been medically proven that a positive attitude improves health outcomes. Here is a positive health affirmation for you

My body is always doing it's best to create perfect health

Facts you should know about affirmations.

1. Positive affirmations are short positive statements. What you need to do is take negative statements or thoughts and change them to positive ones. For instance, "I'm a stupid person" should be replaced with, "I'm an intelligent!" Note: Keep negative words out of your positive affirmations, such as never, can't, and won't. Plus, you should keep them in first person, such as affirmations with I, and me.

2. Positive affirmation need to be repeated everyday and they need you to believe in them. Stay consistent. The more you say your affirmations the stronger your convictions will be. The more your subconscious will refer to these statements when looking for an experience to refer to. The happier your life will be all around.

3. While some positive affirmations will make a quick impact on your life, some will take a little longer to kick in. Some of your beliefs have been instilled into your mind since you were a baby, so they're more deeply rooted into your subconscious. Continue using your positive affirmations, you may not change overnight but you will feel a difference before then.

4. You should make a practice of saying your daily affirmations every morning and every night. If you can't remember them verbatim, write them down and repeat them. Any time you sense one of the negative thoughts coming into your mind immediately counter it with the appropriate positive affirmation. Do not let the negative self-talk destroy the progress you've made in the right direction.

5. When you come to a limiting statement such as, "I can't possible do this", change it just like a negative thought. Make it into a question, such as, "How can I do this?" Asking yourself as if it were a question puts you back in the drivers seat, putting you in control of what happens.
